How we got here

2012
Vagabond's story began with the listing of the first apartment on Airbnb. This marked the start of a new era for hospitality as people began to embrace the idea of staying in unique and personalized accommodations rather than traditional hotels.
2014
Opened its first Aparthotel - Park Residence, which is now known as Vagabond Downtown. The opening of this property marked a significant milestone for the brand as it began to establish itself as a leading provider of boutique aparthotels in Budapest.
2016
Vagabond Corvin opened its doors in 2016, in one of the most dynamically developing areas of Budapest. The area has undergone significant redevelopment, and it has become a hub for art, culture, and entertainment. This achievement was a testament to the brand's dedication to constantly evolving and keeping up with the latest travel trends in Budapest. The brand's growth over the years has made it a reliable and trustworthy choice for travelers looking to stay in the heart of the city.
2018
Vagabond unveiled its Urban Lobby, a vibrant and contemporary coworking space located in the heart of the city. Vagabond Hotels expanded its portfolio with the addition of Vagabond Broadway, situated in the heart of Budapest. This new property offers guests a prime location to explore the city's vibrant cultural scene and bustling nightlife. Achieving a revenue of 6 million euros in 2019, Vagabond marked a significant milestone that reinforced the brand's position as a leader in the hospitality industry. 2020
Vagabond Soho, the newest addition to our portfolio, is a stylish and modern aparthotel located in the heart of Budapest's trendy 7th district. This bustling neighborhood is known for its vibrant nightlife, trendy cafes, and street art.
2021
In 2021, Vagabond continued to weather the storm of the pandemic by partnering with UEFA for Euro 2021. This cooperation allowed the brand to promote its unique offerings to a wider audience and highlight its commitment to delivering safe and enjoyable stays.

Vagabond also underwent a major restructuring in 2021, with new management and the recreation of its mission, vision, and values. These changes were designed to help the brand continue to evolve and thrive in a changing hospitality landscape.

2022 marks the opening of Vagabond Grand'Or, located in the vibrant Nagydiófa street.
