9:00 AM – Morning Stroll along the Danube Promenade: Start your day with a leisurely walk along the picturesque Danube Promenade. Marvel at iconic landmarks such as the Hungarian Parliament Building and the Chain Bridge while enjoying the scenic views of the river. Snap some photos and soak in the beauty of Budapest’s skyline.
10:00 AM – Explore Buda Castle and Castle Hill: Cross the Chain Bridge to the Buda side and make your way to Castle Hill. Climb to the magnificent Buda Castle, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and explore its grand courtyards and impressive architecture. Take in panoramic views of the city from the Fisherman’s Bastion and visit Matthias Church, adorned with stunning Gothic details.

Noon – Lunch in the Jewish Quarter: Head back to Pest and immerse yourself in the lively atmosphere of the Jewish Quarter. This neighborhood is known for its vibrant street art, trendy ruin bars, and delicious food. Stop by one of the local eateries to savor traditional Hungarian dishes like goulash or lángos, a deep-fried dough topped with savory toppings (locals’ favorite is sajtos tejfölös which means sour cream and cheese).

Take a dip in the outdoor pools surrounded by Neo-Baroque architecture and let your worries melt away.

4:00 PM – Stroll through Heroes’ Square and City Park: From Széchenyi Thermal Bath, take a short walk to Heroes’ Square, a grand monument honoring Hungary’s national heroes. Admire the statues and the iconic Millennium Memorial while taking in the grandeur of the square. Afterward, explore the adjacent City Park, where you can visit the Vajdahunyad Castle and enjoy a peaceful walk around the lake.

10:00 PM – Nightcap at a Ruin Bar: End your day in Budapest with a visit to one of the famous ruin bars in the Jewish Quarter. These unique establishments are housed in abandoned buildings and courtyards, creating a bohemian and eclectic ambiance.
